SUMMARY:Wilmington Lions Club Poker Run – Ride for Sight
DESCRIPTION:When: Our club will meet at 10:00am on Saturday April 25th at Shipwreck Harley-Davidson at 6620 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28405. This should give us time to visit and register for the event before the 11:00am start. We can plan on having lunch at either the Brunswick Beer & Cider (stop 2) or the Wilmington Carolina Ale House (stop 4).\nWhat: The Wilmington Lions Club is having a Poker Run – Ride for Sight. All proceeds are going to the visually impaired programs supported by the Lions.\nRegistration is at Shipwreck HarleyDavidson between 9:30am and 11am, with the event starting at 11am. Riders must be at the last stop by 2:30pm for their score card to be tallied.\nThe registration fee for each participant is $25.00. If both the driver and copilot want their own score card it would be $25.00 each.\nThe poker run will include 5 stops, at which all participants will pull a card from a deck, and it will be marked on a score sheet. When all riders return to Harley-Davidson the score cards will be reviewed to determine the winning poker hand! Winner receives $500 cash!\nRegistration: Shipwreck HarleyDavidson between 9:30am and 11am\n\nStop 1: Paul’s Place Hot Dogs\nStop 2: Brunswick Beer & Cider\nStop 3: Leland Holy Cross Episcopal Church Stop\n4: Wilmington Carolina Ale House\nStop 5 & the end of the run: Shipwreck Harley-Davidson. Arrive by 2:30\n\nRegarding food: this is not a race so we can take our time at each stop .to eat / drink/ whatever. The 1st stop at Paul’s Hot Dogs has good dogs! 2nd at stop Brunswick cider had a full menu and the 4th stop at Carolina ale house has a full menu\nIn addition, there will be food trucks at Harley-Davidson along with the raffle items (raffle tickets are $1 each) while we wait for the winner to be announced.\nI have also attached a copy of the Lion’s Club flyer.
