Route via US Hwy 117 to Burgaw; NC Hwy 53 to I-40; I-40 to Exit 385/NC Hwy 41 to Beulaville; NC Hwy 241 from Beulaville to Pink Hill; NC Hwy 11 thru Kinston to Grifton; NC Hwy 118 from Grifton to Yoder’s Dutch Pantry Restaurant on right.\n11:30 am – Approximate arrival time. Reservations at Yoder’s Dutch Pantry. There is a hardware/mercantile store beside the restaurant which is an interesting attraction.\n1:00 pm – Depart for the CSS Neuse Museum at 100 N. Queen Street in Kinston. There is a $5.00 admission charge.\nThere is a full-scale replica of the CSS Neuse ironclad (118 N. Heritage Street) that is normally open on weekends. I will try to get the owners to open for us if we have enough people in attendance.
