D-Day: Freedom From Above (Airborne & Special Operations Museum) asomf.org.

This special exhibit is on display until June of 2022.  If you have an interest in Airborne history and how they were utilized in WWII, this is for you. You will hear about the Normandy invasion experience of the 82nd and 101st troops using a HistoPad tutorial device ($5 rental).  Join us for an easy 2 hour drive up 87 to Fayetteville enjoying the spring beauty of the azaleas and dogwoods along the way.  We will spend a few hours exploring the museum and grounds.  After our museum experience, we will have a late lunch/early dinner at nearby Huske Hardware Restaurant & Brewery huskehardware.com  After refreshment we will head south back home.

date: Tuesday, April 12th
Assemble:  Hardee’s at 87 & 74, 8:30 am-depart at 9:00 am.
