After a weather-related postponement, Mother Nature finally cooperated on November 5 as Club members made their way to the Purple Feet Festival at the Silver Coast Winery in Ocean Isle Beach.
The Festival organizers kindly provided special parking for the 11 Miata’s in attendance and the cars were on display for the event.
Club members enjoyed food, wine (of course!), and dancing to the music of the Imitations. Additionally, a variety of arts and crafts vendors offered their unique wares for sale.
The absolute highlight of the day came during the Lucy Look-Alike contest. Two club members, Judy Carmichael and Deb Perham, swept the competition and placed first and second respectively. Each won Silver Coast wines as prizes. Congratulations, ladies!
Thanks to all who joined in the fun and a very special thank you to our hosts Bill Bertrand and Jo-Ann Craig!

After parking we boarded a shuttle to the grounds of the John Blue House where the games were in full swing. The opening…
