President’s Message – March 2024

Another driving season is upon us. Our clocks will spring forward on Saturday night, March 9th, and we can look forward to the first day of Spring on March 19th. Did you know that is one day earlier because it is a leap year, and February had an extra day?

As we mentioned in our last newsletter, we would like to get at least one driving event on the calendar for each month. Hopefully, with some events pre-planned, members can mark their calendars, and have the ability to attend more often. With that in mind, we are inviting everyone to try to make it to our next get together on Saturday morning March 9th at Panera’s.  Please come for coffee, breakfast or whatever you prefer, and we will incorporate a little planning time at the meeting and try to fill the calendar with events for this year. It will be fun to spend more time together and get excited for this year’s drives.  To help that along, Tom Pane was kind enough to give me a list of events the club has done over the past few years.  With some brainstorming, we hope members will find something interesting they would like to do, and maybe even find someone to help plan an event with them.  We hope to see you there as we give this planning meeting a try.  If you are unable to make it, please look at the list and let John Harris know if there is an event you would like to plan, and what month you want to run it.  The list is included in this newsletter.  See you for coffee and breakfast.

While…

President’s Message – September 2020

President’s Message – August 2020

I hope this finds all of our CFMC members safe and healthy and surviving in the continuing climate of uncertainty and change.  We are definitely well into the “dog days of summer” as August arrives.  In addition to dealing with the heat and humidity, we also need to remember that we are approaching the peak…
