President’s Message – October 2025

Did any of you have the opportunity to attend Miatas at The Gap in Fontana Village, NC at the end of August? It is quite an experience. Judy and I had the opportunity to participate in August 2019, and we were amazed to see the number of Miatas brought together by this event. Of course, I was obliged to get a tee shirt from the event and to wander around the various vendors.  The one thing that I would not recommend doing during the event is driving the Tail of the Dragon since it gets very crowded and the drive loses some of the fun.

Another Miata gathering is being held this month in Connecticut’s Lime Rock Park. MiataCon, organized by Sports Car Driving Association – SCDA, scheduled for October 24-25 this year. While time is running out, there may still be an opportunity to attend this gathering.  If you are interested in attending this event, google miatacon.  And, if you do attend, please take lots of photos to share with the club.

See you at a future club event.
