President’s Message – July 2026

We Want Your Ideas: Where Should We Drive Next?

Hello Cape Fear Miata Club Members!

In June we enjoyed two events, the Beach Bru & Que hosted by the Carmichaels and our monthly coffee social, this time at Stevenson Hendrick Mazda. Thank you to our hosts for keeping our activity calendar full and supporting our club.

Our recent events were a lot of fun, and we want to keep that momentum rolling through the summer. To make sure our upcoming calendar is packed with events, we need your input.

Please give us your suggestions for upcoming club activities. Whether you know a hidden gem of a driving road, a perfect lunch spot, or a unique destination, we want to hear about it!

Please contact our Activities Chairs, Tim McMickle and Tom West with your ideas for:

Day Trips & Road Trips: Got a favorite winding backroad or scenic coastal cruise route?

Weekend or longer Getaways: Are there overnight destinations or driving loops further out that you want to tackle as a group?

Social Activities: Suggest any local car meets, ice cream spots, restaurants, hardware stores, or unique venues that we would enjoy.

No idea is too big or too small. Tell us where you want to go, and let’s get some miles on those odometers!

Yours in the Zoom-Zoom spirit!

Paul Reinmann

President’s Message – September 2021

September means no more post-8 PM sunsets, fewer 90-degree days and Labor Day – sure signs that the summer of 2021 is quickly coming to a close.  Like it or not, we are in the peak of hurricane season here in the southeastern NC.  Our mantra should be:  Be prepared just in case!  We also…
